i so knew it was gonna be a rough year; i knew things were going to suck in some ways. it's not really so bad though...in light of eternity. it's only bad when i forget my MANY blessings, and that is so foolish.

i lift my eyes to the hills. my help comes from the Lord. he will not let my foot slip and he will not slumber as he watches over my coming and going. the Lord watches over me and is the shade at my right hand, "the sun will not harm you by day nor the moon by night."

lest i forget that God is my help, sheer folly.

"in this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world" - my best friend said this. he must have been like perfect or holy or something... ;)
