can i just have my own opinions on things...and is that okay? can i really decide what i think is my political viewpoint and biblical interpretation and the truth not based on what my parents think, my professors think, certain pastors think, certain influential guys or friends think?? is there an absolute truth in politics? i believe there is absolute truth and that God is sovereign and omniscient so it must be less in deciding what i believe that matters and more figuring out who God is in politics. what is God doing with taxes, the economy, social justice, even homosexual marriage...if God is in control than he must have lessons to teach through it all. a lot of the time i feel like i just cannot stomach being conservative, but there is so much about the Democratic political party that is out of line.
