last night at Jane Addams we were talking about involvement in nature...or lack of connection to nature living in the city. i love the city. i do also love being outside - just not when it's cold. i cannot handle long periods of time outside in the cold. i decide that this spring i want to go on more walks. maybe even jog around lake calhoun. i'm finally in good enough physical shape that i can handle that so i should totally do it.

as far as nature is concerned though, there is nothing better than laying on the dock up at faith haven when the sky is littered with stars. and a picture cannot capture it (unless maybe you have a sweet camera and i do not). theres just absolutely nothing like it.
